FPL Thread - Why keeping your Liverpool assets might be a wise decision.

Are you 100% certain what you want to do with your Liverpool players?

Please retweet if you find the following information useful.
If you have purchased the players for a cost lower than their current price tag, then you will have some value in those players.

Selling for just 50% of the profit would punish you severely if you couldn't find a reasonable replacement (that you do not already own).
E.g. If you bought TAA for 7M and sold for 7.4M, would re-spending that money equate to the same points? Probably not. In fact 7.8M would still be a challenge.

You would be missing him for the last 5 Gameweeks, it would cost 0.4M extra to buy him back and 1 of your 5 transfers.
As a result of selling key Liverpool assets, the high ownership could catapult your rank high or it could drop like a led balloon.

Ask yourself this question. Will Klopp drop his key players by more than 30mins with no FA Cup/Champions League games and many PL records to break?
Trent came off after 73mins against Palace, which gives him a 13 minute buffer for his clean sheet.

Minutes over 60 and lower than 90 each game would increase the clean sheet possibility for defenders.
The reserve players are likely to get under 30mins playtime, so they can get above the 5 appearances threshold for a Premier League medal.

Klopp will be able to utilise his 5 substitutions for this factor. He will not want to use those substitutions so early on either.
Alternative players like Sterling spring to mind. Just remember City are in the FA Cup AND Champions League still, so Pep Roulette will be a worry.

City have practically guaranteed a place in the top 4 too. So with the League wrapped up, you might want to reconsider.
Jesus would be a strong option as he is over 3M cheaper and he is one of few striking options at City right now.

It is better to mix City and Liverpool players if you can IMO. I have tripled up on Manchester United players myself.

KDB is undoubtedly indispensable to all teams.
Reverse Fixtures:
Villa | Won 2-1
Brighton | Won 2-1 with 10 men
Burnley | Won 3-0
Arsenal | Won 3-1
Chelsea | Won 2-1
Newcastle | Won 3-1

6 Games Combined points:
TAA - 42pts
Mane - 42pts
Salah - 40pts

That's a 7 point per match average.
Although this is a good set of fixtures, they have been fixture proof all season. They now have no pressure and an all-time high in confidence.

Verdict: You cannot look past holding on to Liverpool's best players. Even if there is a tiny risk of players being completely dropped.
Any questions?

I hope this helped you in making a good decision.
