jaesix is the former name of jae's youtube channel. the first video was uploaded on sept 6th, 2017. this was during the every day6 project, in which day6 released two songs per month for the entirety of 2017.
jae was also co-hosting for asc at the time.

jaesix eventually came to a halt around the shoot me era in mid-2018; jae released this video, explaining that jaesix was created so mydays could keep receiving new content between day6 comebacks.
byron from byronvids and pd from formoftherapy were jaesix's main editors; jae paid for their work on his own, and never received support from the company.

this content is so valuable not only because it is pure entertainment, but also because it helped promote day6's name. jaesix videos regularly featured day6 songs or the other members. it also greatly appealed to international audiences, as everything was in english.
around 5 months ago, jae began releasing original songs under the name 'eaj'– the backward spelling of 'jae' symbolizes how jae is using the project to return to his roots and rediscover his artistic identity. these songs have only been released on youtube and soundcloud, as+
they are not monetized. he also collaborated with 88rising to release acoustic versions on their channel.
