There is something you should really know. It’s important to fight the decline of civilization.

Here it is: There is no such thing as “spaghetti Bolognese” in Italy, let alone in Bologna. You can only have tagliatelle al ragù.

Also, these simply do not exist in Italy. Ever:

-Pepperoni Pizza (ask for it, and they’ll bring a pizza with peppers, not salami)
-Garlic Bread? Nope, go for a bruschetta
-Macaroni Cheese. Closest thing I can think of is “pasticcio di pasta al forno” with the leftovers (literally, a mess, as that’s what macaroni cheese is)

-Penne Alfredo (there is something called “pasta al burro”, nothing to do with creamy pasta, and not with added chicken!)
-Panini. It just means sandwich, it’s not grilled, no butter. VERY different from “tramezzino”
-Meatball Spaghetti, Hawaiian Pizza:crimes against humanity
