Valencia have one a really good mix of talent and experience that Marcelino made the best of. But their problems run much much deeper. Dreadful owners, horrible decisions and a toxic environment generated due to the mismanagement has seemingly burnt the club from the ground up.
Valencia's managerial turnover is one of their biggest problems. While Peter Lim often claims to be "obsessed by football", none of the decisions he and the club president Anil Murthy make ever seem that way.
The time Lim seemed to have got his manager who could've built a team to challenge heavyweights in Marcelino, he threw it all away by letting his ego get the better of himself.

Beloved by fans & players, most of all a trophy winner, sacked. No one will truly understand why.
While Valencia had a solid team, the context behind how massive of an achievement winning that Copa del Rey was against a Messi led Barcelona canmot be overstated. For a club in eternal turmoil, Marcelino provided them a sense of stability and a first trophy since 2008.
Now after sacking Albert Caledes, Valencia turn to a familiar face in Voro who will become a caretaker for the 6th time (!!!) & who they hope will steady a battered and sinking ship.
It doesn't look good for Valencia. There needs to be a drastic change in how the club is run or they might find it harder to attract good players and exciting talents like Ferrán Torres are almost sure to leave.

Valencia are a historic club and they deserve better. 🦇
