1. This event is held by class MC243S4B, the event is based on how the students are giving their reviews of the indie movies from both local and western. While the special guests, Puteri Khareeza and Iman Firdaus will give their honest critique to the movie reviews.
2. There are 10 movies that were being reviewed by the students. There are 6 local movies which are pekak, ola bola, ceo, adiwiraku, daulat and kil. While the western movies are chef, marriage story, get out and lady bird.
3. For the first review critique from Iman, he said that the movie review of movie 'Chef' is a little bit lack of energy because the face reactions that were given are not convincing enough. Iman explained again, the movie review supposed to be exciting and fun.
4. Next, when it's Putri's turn to give her critique, it was 'Adiwiraku' movie, she said the review that was given was fun and the explanations given was accurate while 'Daulat' movie, she said the review that the students gave is cool.
5. While Iman said the 'Adiwiraku' review is very basic but it does have passion in giving the review. For the next movie, 'Get Out' is too long but the review was good and a lot of terms are used and was explained. Unfortunately, it gives a bad impression when the one of the-
students mentioned about 'white girl' which will lead to misunderstanding because it sounds really bias and racist. Then the 'Daulat' review, Iman said the eye contact is good.
6. Futhermore, as for the 'ladybird' review, "the lighting and the audio was good but it doesn't leave a conclusion, while 'kil' review the lighting wasn't good and there are a lot of noises and as for the theory given are not given thoroughly." said Iman.
7. Next, for the 'Pekak' review, Iman said the theory is nice and the energy given was powerful. Everything was nice including the transitions and the attention-getter and it was the only group with 2 people reviewing at the same times.
8. While 'Ola Bola' movie review critique, the whole review was satisfying, said Iman. The theory used is accurate and related to the cultures. While Puteri said, the 'lady bird' review was full of information while 'kil', Puteri said the energy given wasn't the same.
9. 'Ola Bola' review was perfectly fine, the transitions are good, the energy need to be more powerful because the whole movies are about sports, said Puteri.
10. The google meet live ended around 1 p.m. In conclusion, Iman and Puteri said all the groups' energy given was powerful and the contents were full of information. Although, there were a lot of technical difficulties but the event was ended successfully.
