May as well start my tax return

In the last financial year I drove from home to work and back home again, just the once

2,272km for that one return trip

Why I didn't ride my bicycle that day I can't recall

Also, I'll be claiming the cost of sausage rolls purchased at every bakery between Melbourne and Brisbane and back home to Sydney

So far I've located credit card receipts for bakeries in the following towns, this is just heading north -

Euroa
Chilten
Culcairn
Alfred Town
Gunning
Buladelah
Port Macquarie
Maclean
Kingscliff
Tumbulgum

Note most of those places are off the highway. I'm a fan of doing the turn off into the town that now has the bypass simply to put money into their local economy, even if it adds a little to my journey time

Oh it was summer so I'm pretty sure I was on a iced coffee binge also

OK I'm supposed to be doing my tax but honestly, this thread about sausage rolls, dogs, bakeries and travelling to work is much more fun

And I had a break at the river/beach in Kingscliff, near the border w NSW. I woke up from my nap to find @jackfsheedy had swum to the other side, against the tide & through bull sharks to chase a bloody pelican

After this that we walked around the corner to the surf beach
