With all the insanity going on in the world, students across the globe have had to adapt. “E-learning” has become synonymous with school as a whole.

This has been especially true for Chicago Public School students as we are majority underprivileged as well as minority students. Through these times we’ve had to juggle home responsibilities, mental health as well as employment, on top internet access;

all of this culminating together made it almost impossible to maintain the level of productivity we once had before this pandemic.

On behalf of the students in Chicago & the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee we are announcing that the students are tired of voicing our frustration just for it to fall on deaf hears. We are telling CPS to meet these demands as they are a violation of civil rights in regards to-

education as the issues stated earlier disproportionately effect black & brown folks, & we simply will not stand for it, & are done playing games.

We do not plan on backing down & we will make CPS listen to the students of this city.
