Had an epiphany and I think I want to fight for the education system and learn more about politics and how it impacts education. I love the classroom but see myself leaving only to fight for my students/fellow educators.

I’d love to see more educators in Congress, and would love to learn about those who are currently in Congress. (Pls send me info?).

Education is not a privilege, IT IS A RIGHT. As a teacher we save lives (not like nurses who do it everyday) but sometimes we are the students safety and comfort. I think I found my path.

So I will try and come back to this thread and see if in a year I still feel this way. Maybe it’ll help reignite something in me. Who knows.
