Wraith skin:
We sent the Marble Goddess skin out with a bad hitbox in the Lost Treasures event. That's 100% on us.
We actually missed an entry in the model settings, and it had NO hitbox. Just an easy slip up.
But, the game autogenerated one. This feature seems great, but it just lets us miss bugs like this. So, we are changing that engine feature for the future. :)
Aaaannyway, the autogenerated hit box is basically a big rectangle. Yeah, we should have caught this in testing. That's on us 100000%.
So now cut to the issue - players who just bought an $18 skin are getting wrecked because their hitbox is huge. What can we do?

Well first let me explain our options.
Client patches are patches you download that have code and content. They live on your machines, and it's the version of the game that your machine knows you play.
Then there's server patches. Those are code changes we can make that we update very fast because
1. you don't have to download them
2. they don't have to go through sony/microsoft for approval
The server and the client both need the new hitbox for the fix to be complete.

So, we decided to rush out the server hitbox fix asap, which we did last week.
What this does is allows your shots to actually register truthfully.
Meaning, on your machine, you'll see blood splatters and hit reg on the old hitbox. BUT NO DAMAGE NUMBERS. This means you actually MISSED the real hitbox, and hit the old bad one. And the server knows it.
If you hit the actual fixed hitbox areas, the server knows it, and shows damage numbers and does damage.

So, at the very least, if you've been getting no-reg on Wraith, you've been actually missing those shots.

(some people gon' be mad at that one hee hee)
Now, this doesn't feel good for the shooter, and it took a 45 page essay here to explain it (which is why I hadn't done it yet)

We also could have disabled the skin. We chose not to do this because people paid real money for it.

In hindsight, we probably should have done that.
Regardless, the client fix is coming real soon. I hear it's tomorrow morning. Along with a handful of other fixes.

Sorry for the wait!
