#talk2wftda what we missed-I appreciate the efforts to try to create more space for BIPOC voices, I think it’s also a little challenging to come into a very public space like this about “Supporting Black Skaters” hosted by two white individuals (who are lovely, but also not POC)

#talk2wftda I know there is a want to help. The problems WFTDA has are systemic. So systemic change is needed to make that happen. In order to get BIPOC community members to the table there is a level of trust that needs to be re-established and an equal seat made available.

#talk2wftda I think these things are in the works, but some of the other efforts that happen in the interim just feel like they are not accomplishing what you hope to accomplish. Keep listening. #derbytwitter
