7 simple ways founders can cut through the noise

And get VCs excited

Thread....
They send a @loom video pitching the slide deck, vs just sending it

Energy passed through voice helps brighten the slides and helps them learn about your personality
They send a working prototype of the product

Display execution of the app, idea's are not worth it

Do this using @bubble @AdaloHQ / many no-code tools out there
Interact with the VC a couple times via Twitter instead of doing cold outreach
Send really short and concise emails.

@mcuban has made investments via cold email

That email copy is usually very concise and the subject line is ridiculously catchy

Sell the opportunity
Ask the VC to Google your website

RUN PPC ads on Google specific to that VC's name

"Hey <FirstName> - Here's a Special Landing Page Just For You"
Make the VC your customer

Instacart almost missed YCs batch

Instead of giving up, they used their own app to order beer for @garrytan the VC they were talking to

--
Half an hour later I got a call from Garry. “What is this?” Garry asked. “This is Instacart!” I exclaimed

Build an audience, acquire some pre-sales

This shouldn't be even for the VC but for yourself

Run some tests, build an email list, get some traction data

This will show an appetite
Did I miss any ideas ?

Would love to hear some more epic stories/strategies
