THREAD: Timeline of some events during shooting at #CHOP with receipts

The incident was confusing and I feel like the extent to which it lasted is getting lost in discussion of what happened.

At 2:55 I first heard shots while in my apartment. I immediately threw on shoes and sprinted up the stairs to my building’s roof to see what was going on. I recall hearing more on the way up the stairs. I believe I sent the 2:56 message when I reached the top

After a brief pause in fire, but lots of chaos on the ground as people ran around there was further firing at greater length than before at 2:57 Then again at 2:58. Unclear where. From my vantage point next door to East Precinct I can’t see much on 12th, but I can hear lots

This is when shit really starts. I begin hearing cars and squealing tires from 12th as well as more guns. Guns that *sound* like they are coming from multiple locations. The way they are interspersed it *sounds* like a back and forth exchange is occurring. But I cant say for sure

Yes “fun battle” was a typo, obviously. Nothing about this was fun. I also want to clarify that when I’m talking shots here, I’m not talking a little “pow-pow” I’m talking repeated, sustained, burst fire

I don’t want to rely on purely memory here, because memory is fallible. So I can’t tell you what happened the next 5 mins. But at 3:04 I sent this tweet, indicating gunshots and car sounds were still ongoing or had just extremely recently paused.

Once again I want to note that when i said “multiple locations” I can’t completely say for sure because I couldn’t see, but that is what it very clearly *SOUNDED* like. I could hear some shots coming from farther north on 12th than others

I also chose not to livestream because it was too dark to see much of and the incident was clearly on 12th by this point where I could not see clearly due to a liquor store and tree in the way.

What I am sure of is that at 3:07, when I tweeted this, EVEN MORE shots had just rung out. It has been at LEAST 12 minutes of intermittent gunfire now.

Sometime between 3:07 and 3:09 the shooting stops. The medics transport at least one victim to the hospital in a white or cream colored car. They have a bit of trouble getting OUT of barricades but figure it out quickly

I don’t profess to know what happened exactly. I know there’s a lot of confusion. But what I can tell you for 100% fact is that a lot more shit went down than just #CHOP security shooting the occupants of a car. I think this thread shows that clearly.

And furthermore, look at the photos of the car that was shot at. Does it look like hundred of bullets were dumped into it? Not in my opinion. It looks fairly precise shooting. So where did all these bullets go?

I hope we can piece this together. Something is very wrong about what went down. Feels like some information is missing IMO, because the pieces we have don’t really fit together
