Unpopular kpop opinions a thread (it's alright if you disagree with me) but some of these have to be said

I would like to add that I'll be explaining some of my opinions with details, I am aware some of these might not be unpopular, but I still wanted to add them

Stop calling jyp the best company, throughout the years he has sexualized minors including hyuna,suzy,tzuyu and a lot more and overworks their idols

Views, popularity, music wins etc... Don't reflect the quality of a group. A group could be so good but very underrated and it won't mean their less of a group/ or bad

Dreamcatcher have one of the best discographies in kpop, their style is very unique and interesting

Txt isn't a copy of Bts they're their OWN group, they have a completely different style

Sm should focus on their groups they have right now rather than debuting new ones, they need to learn how to manage their groups first and give them proper treatment

Don't hate the group just cause you don't like the fandom, I understand that every group has toxic fans but going far to even hating on the group is just unnecessary and needs to stop

Their is such thing as "best leaders" a lot of the times most companies will most likely choose their oldest instead of seeing potential leadership on other members, they expect the oldest to know what they're doing just simply cause they're older than the rest of the members

Some of the best leaders are bang chan, rm, s.coups, jihyo and taeyong, they have carried their group and have really help on getting their group out there and have even step up against the company for their group

Not every song needs a rap line, in some cases it's unnecessary and doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the song

Theirs a lot of idols that kpop stans don't even acknowledge unless if it's for their ships, idols are more than just being half a ship

Boy with luv is actually a really good song, it has a happy vibe to it and it's a peaceful era, the boys seem to genuinely seem to have fun while performing it

Kpop industries are very xenophobic and take advantage of their foreign idols and won't treat them equally as their korean members cause they know they can get away with mistretment and still get money out of them

kpop stans focus more on trying to break records,surpass views etc... rather than actually enjoying the song

Nct concept is not hard is just that y'all just lazy it really doesn't take so much to understand it

Red velvet has one of the best bside tracks in the kpop industry

Monsta X and the boyz are one of the most educated and genuinely nice kpop groups their is such as showing support for lgbtq+ community,destroying gender roles, no to racism, down with toxic Masculinity and so much more

Blackpink doesn't deserve the hate they get at all especially jennie and most of the time kpop stans just like bashing on them cause they broke their faves records

Sm has the best vocalist in the kpop industry such as wendy baekhyun taeil taeyeon jonghyun taemin and bunch of more

The rumors that antis make out of Ateez are really dumb and need to stop, I literally can't find a reason on why to hate on them

Forcing a ship into your idol is really weird, when you start thinking that they're actually dating and trying to prove that it is real is very delusional of you

Wayv should be known for being their own group not just another nct sub unit

you don't know your idols yes you may have watch their interviews,vlives, their shows etc...but that's only a glimpse of who they are, I'm not saying they might be bad people but a lot of the time celebrities will obviously potray themselves to look good infront of a camera

It's not other members fault if your fave doesn't get the lines and screentime they deserve so stop hating on other members and go blame the company for line and screentime distribution

Pledis is one of the worst companies they can't even manage their groups, nu'est and pristin were done so dirty which they deserve so much better and seventeen only manage to get to where they are right now cause they were a self produce group and would rarely rely on pledis

Media in america are just using kpop idols for clout and don't actually care for them perfect examples Bts, Blackpink and superm, they know that a lot of fans will watch anything with their faces on it and will use that as an advantage to get views

I found hylt to be a really nice catchy song, I definitely vibe to it tho I do agree it should of had more vocals in it

Fan wars are not always dumb heres why if someone is dragging/spreading misleading info of your faves,you're obviously going to feel the need to speak up against it cause no one is going to enjoy seeing their faves being defamed, accuse or insulted etc...

You make your fandom look bad when you're toxic, I know there's peaceful stans for every fandom but that small proportion that's being toxic it makes it seem like the fandom overall is bad too

People who say it's wonyoung fault for choosing the side to side song. It isn't, she's a CHILD mnet should of not even gaven her that option, they should of not shown an underage idol dancing to a sexual song on tv, I'm sure they were aware that they were exploiting a child

Idols shouldn't be allowed to debut if they're minors and here's why being an idol is basically a full time job and it comes with negativity that could mess with the idols mentally and those intense schedules and hard dancing practices+

could make an impact on them a lot especially since their brain and body are still developing

People who say "Well you're not here to stan the fandom you're here for the group" likeee do you not realize fandoms have such an impact?? Why would people want to surround themselves in such toxic community so yes fandoms can ruin it and drain all the fun out of all of it

most of the groups you consider underrated aren't they're just underappreciated

Loona butterfly choreography is one of the best dances in the kpop idustry

idols care about you but not you specifically their job is to entertain you, to sing and dance and make music, they're not your family or friends they don't know who you are personally, as fans we should just support them and respect them

Visuals do contribute to a group success and do take their part in a group some of the most popular kpop groups are fill with visuals, I'm not saying that it's the most important thing cause of course their also comes the music but visuals can really get the group out there

Seventeen and Nct have the best synchronization in dancing among boy groups

Jyp strongly ruined got7 potential, got7 knows their sound it's just that jyp doesn't give them the artistic freedom they need

Companies care about the opinion of korean fans more than international fans for example when it comes to a dating scandals they're quick to make a statement on it but+

When it comes to culture appropriation or other stuff that international fans have a complaint about, they fully ignore it and most of the time won't acknowledge the issue

Girl groups are way more diverse in their music than boy groups

Stop saying a group is better than another group just because they compose/write their own music, idols were trained to sing and dance

Stop fully blaming companies for the racism your idol has done and hold them accountable for it. It's not always the companies fault. for example when an idol is mimicking poc, calling people names, choosing their own hair and it turning out to be culture appropriation+

Those were their choices not the companies it's not like the company force them to "yeah go ahead go mimick poc" like no I assure you they didn't, idols who have done things like that should take full accountability

Fandoms like moas and atinys...nctzens and armys need to stop fighting each other y'all obsessed at this point with each others fandoms like might as well become an armyzen and atinymoas

Somi joining the black label was the best decision, she's gets to express herself more, take part in music production and overall she seems genuinely happy

People saying "Lia isn't a good dancer" is just an excuse to hate itzy, I find that lia is good dancing it's just that the other members are better, but that doesn't mean you're going to bash on her

A group the falls down from their peak doesn't mean they're underrated, if a group was very successful some point in their career and doesn't do as good as they did back then won't mean they're underrated

Sometimes feel like sm doesn't know what they're doing with nct/Wayv I love the groups but they never been consistent, it's frustrating seeing their concept being wasted when it has so much potential sm get your stuff together already

Queendom/Kingdom are better ideas than those produce 101

People who think they're going to marry their idols and get jealous when female idols get close to male idols need to get a life

4th gen groups are not weak!!
Groups like Oneus,skz,everglow,itzy,loona,txt ateez, g-idle and much more have really stable vocals and have deliver great stage presence

The kpop industry very misogynistic ggs don't get as much comebacks as the bgs,they get to little to no promotion and ggs are constantly judge and it's obvious that the industry has double standards for ggs also there's a lot of kpop stans that are very misogynistic

Stop acting as if lip syncing is a sin, idols need to give their voices breaks and it's easier to manage when they're performing a hard choreography

Groups like shinee, 2NE1 snsd bigbang had a huge impact in the kpop industry

Sm wants their idols to have a certain look if you look at their idols a lot of them resemble each other features and most have a sort type of pure look

Jaehyun and Johnny should of been in superm

Aegyo is cringe and weird, I feel bad for the idols that are more grown up and still have to do it

There's no such thing on who's the best company out of the big 3 all of them equally are shady and suck at managing their groups

Stanning every group and hating bts doesn't make you quirky

Some members in groups are useless regardless on how much you love them, and I don't blame the idol I blame the companies for this for not letting all the members showcase their potential

When I said fanwars were not always dumb that only counts when protecting your idols, a lot of times fandoms just fight over the dumbest thing and it gets really annoying and should just stop in general

Know your place as a fan, you don't own them, they have feelings too,they're human beings if they have platic surgery so what stop complaining about it, it's not a bad thing
