This is all complicated, of course. Reopenings haven’t always caused spikes. Protests haven’t either, at least at this early stage. We still aren’t certain about many things, including the incubation period. But over interpreting a single early paper is absurd.

Of course, @neeratanden is a hack who isn’t interested in the truth. Besides mentioning me in her twitter comments, the only thing I knew about her is that she got Matt Bruenig fired because he was mean to her online. I’m glad she doesn’t have similar power over my life.
