A 10 anime/manga for me is something personal, a piece that defines my taste in anime, something I will be excited to rewatch and recommend other people. It doesn& #39;t have to be perfect, or critically acclaimed or revolutionary in the industry. I& #39;m not a believer in genre superiority, if it is about cute girls doing cute things then it& #39;s judged on the cute-girl-anime scale. It& #39;s not inferior to any of action/drama by definition. That said : K-On and Demi-chan are 10 for me because they are perfect in what they do.

A long running series do not have to put out episodes that are "peak fiction" back to back, it& #39;s ok to take your time to do a proper buildup to a powerful moment, they are as good as the emotional highs of their peaks, because that& #39;s what impacts me. Naruto, One Piece, Conan - 10

10 is what I think anyone can enjoy, because I& #39;m not special, just a human, and if I LOVED it, there& #39;s a high probability random people will at least enjoy it a bit. A 10 is something I& #39;m not afraid to just recommend to anyone.
