Some witches, despite not following the Wiccan religion, do like to follow this law. So that’s where the “return to sender” spells come in and mirrors are used to “reflect” the magic or harm another has caused.
So whoever caused them harm can get a taste of their own medicine, without the witch attracting more negative energy to themselves.

If a spell calls for a mirror and you are unable to find one, do not fret! Modern witches can make do with a variety of household items, like tinfoil. Witches who work in nature prefer using bodies of water, but really any kind of reflective surface serves the purpose of a mirror

Like the video said, we’re surrounded by them. “Black mirrors” are our phones, TV screens, tablets, etc.
Mirrors are inescapable! But don’t panic. They’re not inherently bad (like most of the witchy things the media & organized religions want you to fear)

No, mirrors are not “portals of hell” or whatever that dude said lol.
However, they do circulate a lot of energy and if you’re not used to feeling such vibrations that might be why you get that “freaky” sensation when looking into one for too long.

They can also reflect your own energy back to you which is why we have to treat ourselves with absolute kindness when looking at ourselves in the mirror! Don’t “hex” yourself haha jk (but seriously)

Technically, yes? Light can enter and exit mirrors. Light is frequency, thus it’s energy. Without magical intervention, that’s just what a mirror is: a center of energy.
