When I got to Barstool Sports I said that if I was expected to apologize for everything that everyone had said and done in the last 17 years, I would be forced to literally do nothing else and it would appease exactly no one.

No-one ever wanted Barstool to get this far, let alone anywhere. We did. And we will keep going. We’ve gotten here by virtue of authenticity, real stories, and a steadfast belief in trial and error.

We have and will continue to evolve. Not because anyone said we had to, but because we wanted to. I'm proud of that and proud of all the people we have here.

Change doesn't come from cancellation, and it will never come from everyone having fucking consensus all the time. It comes from difficult times and strong people who see new opportunities and take risks.

Evolution isn't born out of judgement; it is born out of people trying to mix things up. It is a result of resolve and grit and I know we have more of that than anybody.
