1/10 I don't know if Trump is starting a race war, but he's definitely encouraging one by failing to bring calm to the nation. By not strongly condemning violence & encouraging unity, Trump stokes his base's fear of what they don't fully understand (i.e., #BlackLivesMatter )

2/10...I write this because of the following Facebook post that I read on my page this morning: "You cannot be saved and support or endorse black lives matter. Any church that allows that on their grounds is a church of devils." Another Facebooker responded w/the following:

3/10... "Just ordered another 1,000 rds of ammo yesterday, I seriously believe this fight is coming to us in time."

The posts were made by 2 men residing in MS following news of the vote to remove the MS state flag (Sadly, one of the 2 men was my former high school classmate.).

4/10...These are only 2 Facebook posts, but I'm certain if you explore FB pages (public individual & group pages), you'll find posts similar to the ones I've mentioned.

Bottom line: Our suspicions are correct. When Trump touts the 2nd Amendment, it is a dog whistle to his base.

5/10...Trump's base is listening & 'taking up arms' (By the way, that sign we thought was an 'OK' sign, a secret sign made by white supremacists, is actually a sign used by '3 Percenters'. Hence, the extension of 3rd, 4th, & 5th digits of the hand. I learned this by watching...

6/10...a video posted by the 'Mississippi State Flag Defenders' group on Facebook that consisted of quick, somewhat subtle displays of allegiance to the '3 Percenters' group, which were embedded in a 45 min video discussion of organizing protests across the state of MS.).

7/10...SOMEONE (e.g., Senate & House Democrats, media, our intelligence community) needs to dig much deeper to gain as much insight as possible into what is actually taking place right under our noses.

8/10...Without such vigilance & tenacity in efforts to uncover the truth of what is quietly unfolding in terms of race relations in America, it's impossible to protect our democracy & its peaceful, law-abiding citizens.
