Hello and welcome!

This is the Unofficial Bundesliga TOTS 2019 / 2020!

These strange times have still delivered some insane performances, new rising stars and firing mainstays!

It's going to be a long one, so strap in and enjoy the read!
The Bundesliga TOTS will consist out of a starting XI, 9 subs and some honerable mentions.

The formation we will use for our starting XI will be a 4-3-3 with a defensive diamond as shown below.
Of course every team needs a world class goalie, and boy do we have one!

Manuel Neuer was out of this world once again proving he's still one of the best keepers in the world, having kept his net empty for 15 Games this season whilst captaining his side to the Bundesliga title!
From an established legend to a Rookie; Alphonso Davies is our starting LB!

With his blistering pace and amazing skill he has a lot of attacking prowess to show, whilst also having the capabilities to excellently fit into defense.

There's no way Phonzy wouldn't be in this team!
Slotting in at CB is David Alaba.

After the injury of Niklas SĂŒle against Augsburg, Alaba perfectly filled his place in his absense, leaving the way open for his attache Davies to flourish and putting in an excellent shift after shift at CB.

The Austrian sure deserves his spot!
The second CB in this team is Bundesliga veteran Mats Hummels.

The Bayern MĂŒnchen and Borrusia Dortmund played an excellent season and we wouldn't expect otherwise from.

Hummels was the main man in a 3 or 5 ATB-defense and sure is one of the main reason BvB became second!
Archaf Hakimi has had a very strong Bundesliga campain this season!

With the attacking quality to rival TAA he's a sure goalthread scored 5 and assisted 10.

It will be interesting if he will play for Real, Inter, BvB or another top club next season!
There's no way we could leave out Joshua Kimmich in this XI.

Proficient at right back and in midfield this Bayern superstar has been able to fulfill both Lahm's and Schweisteiger's rolls in the team at only 25!

It's hard to argue that Joshua doesn't deserve his spotin the team!
How couldn't we pick Thomas MĂŒller!

The raumdeuter been amazing this season breaking the assistrecord KDB set by assisting 21 times !

The joker has been crucial on and off the pitch for FC Bayern's titlewin and only a madman wouldn't recognise his performances this season.
Kai Havertz is next!

Every big team in the world (and Chelsea) are interrested in the youngster and that's not without reason, having scored 12x and assisted 6 from all over the pitch.

It's going to be interesting where he will play next season but he certainly plays in this XI
Barca, Real, Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Just to name a few clubs who're interrested in the signature of Jadon Sancho.

After a stellar Bundesliga campain he has settled himself as a world class player!

Let's just hope he can display his magic in the Bundesliga next season too!
We don't even need to mention why Robert Lewandowski is in this XI.

The best striker in the world once again had a stellar season scoring 34 this season breaking the record of Seeler and with only Legend G. MĂŒller above him.

A Ballon d'or should be the crown on this season.
And to finnish of our starting XI: Timo Werner.

The pacy German fired RB Leipzig into 3rd place putting 28 into the net.

In two days time he will be a Chelsea player and we're all curious if he can replicate that unbelievable form in the Premier League next season!
To recap, here is our Starting XI.

Filled with amazing performances, but those are not all the players who enjoyed a great campaign.

We still have 9 substitutes and some honerable mentions to go!
Starting off the bench with a goalkeeper: PĂ©ter GulĂĄcsi.

The 190cm hungarian shotstopper enjoyed a remarkable campaign, having 13 cleansheets and helping Leipzig to a 3rd place finish
Missing just out because of Sancho is Serge Gnabry.

The pacey winger had 29 goalcontributions, playing on the left and rightflank.

With the transfer of Sané in the making Gnabry certainly doesn't have to fear for gametime as the German is crucial to FC Bayern's game.
A fresh transfer from PSG, Christopher Nkunku had an amazing start of life in Germany, being crucial in the Leipzig midfield.

How could we forget his legendary performace against Schalke 04 where he assisted 4 goals in 1 match.

The future sure looks bright for this rising star.
in 9/10 season, Thiago would feature in the starting 11. But this season he just misses out.

The Spaniard is criminally underrated because his G/A output isn't something to write home about. But don't underestimate the impact on play from this midfield maestro!
Kevin Mbabu is our second choice RB.

The Swiss is an excelent dribber and outstanding at tackling blazing wingers alike.

Being the most talented defender in the Wolfsburg squad, it's certainly not suprised he made our TOTS. Even if it's just on the bench.
Another fine defender who just misses out on the starting XI is Matthias Ginter. The 24 year old was a rock in defense for the Die Fohlen.

But don't underestimate his role in BMG's buildup play. The 191cm long German provides 4.8 longballs a game!
A bit of Dutch pride has to feature in this team! So Wout Weghorst is in!

The Dutchman is 4th in the topscorer list with 16 goals and even having assisted 3!

The 197 cm long giant is strong in the air and excellent in holding up the play.

Not a bad player to lead the line!
Another great pick for CB who just misses out is Upamecano.

The young french man is solid in defense and is reliable in building up the play with a 87% pass succes rate.

No wonder the young frenchman is linked to Chelsea and Arsenal!
This team wouldn't be complete without Filip Kostić.

The former HSV man enjoys life to the fullest in Frankfurt, being a real goalthread from the left with 4 goals and 11 assists in the Bundesliga this season.

With 27 years of age he still has a long career in front of him!
That was one hell of a strong bench!

Now we still have some honerable mentions left.
This doesn't mean the following players had a bad season, or aren't good players, they just missed out because of the excelent season of the afformentioned players!
The first of our honourable mentions is RafaƂ Gikiewicz.

He enjoyed a great campaign, certainly considering the quality of Union Berlin's defence. But the only reason he misses out is because of the sheer quality of Neuer and GulĂĄcsi.
The two defenders who're barely missing out are Benjamin Pavard and Marcel Halstenberg.

They're great defenders, but they just missed out because of the abundance of Bayern and Leipzig players.

Just for the sake of keeping things interesting.
Leon Goretzka also just misses out for the same reasons as Pavard and Halstenberg.

The German had a real strong run of form after the Corona-break. But what would you expect from such a hench legend!
Then there are 3 attackers who miss out.

- Alassane Pléa
- Marcus Thuram
- Kevin Volland.

They're great players and had great seasons, but there are only so many spots for attackers...
At last. We've reached the end.

This was an incredibly long thread to make (about 2 to 3 hours) and if you've made it this far you apparently enjoyed reading it. So why not give it a like, maybe a RT perhaps.

But anyways, thanks for reading and have a great day!
