Can I share my favorite metal/metal ore songs with you all and their meanings? Obvs metal isn’t for everyone, but I love the passion and intensity behind the lyrics and the instrumental is an added level of emotion.

I’ve been listening to metal since middle school and I’m actually quite picky about it. I mostly like speed metal. the most important thing to me are the lyrics and I actually hate the guttural all screaming kind of metal. So really I prefer metalcore which has singing in it also

In no particular order, first up: Ludens by Bring Me The Horizon. This song was actually made for the Death Stranding video game. It’s weird and has such a unique sound. Oli Sykes dresses like a kpop Star even tho he’s white and British lol. Take a listen:

Continuing on with BMTH: I love it when orchestral elements are added to metal. It’s my absolute favorite. The juxtaposition is *chef’s kiss*. I listen to Avalanche when I’m up in my feelings and feeling sad.

Parasite eve is very new. It was released yesterday. I love the opening. It’s in Russian and it’s just a creepy vibe. This song is also fitting for the current pandemic and the world just being utter shit. I’m happy to say I know all the words already lol
