I see many muslims claim hijab isn’t fardh or try to find fault in the women who wear hijab

For the ones who claim hijab isn’t fardh, you have committed kufr and I’m not even addressing that

I will address the second point [Thread]
Many of you will say “I know hijabi women who smoke and drink” and non hijabi women who don’t

What is the purpose of this statement? It seems to be you trying to make excuses for those who do not wear the hijab

Also the statement has other implications
When you say this, you subconsciously communicate that it is ok to not wear the hijab

As long as you aren’t smoking, drinking, having sex, or whatever else it is

This is absolutely the wrong mentality to have on the situation
The reality is that hijab is a fardh. And if you do not wear hijab in public, then you are publicly sinning

Public sinning is worse than sinning in private. And your very existence outside the house becomes haram for not wearing the hijab

Do not downplay a fardh
And for those sisters who say, “I will wear it when I am ready.” That lets everyone know you aren’t serious

No one is really ready for anything. How many of you were ready for this pandemic and quarantine that happened?

Your life has radically changed and it was unexpected
The same principle applies to any other hardship

Will you be ready if you go through a life threatening illness? For heartbreak? Death of a loved one? War breaking out where you live?

You would not be ready for any of this but you will be thrown into regardless
I’m sure everyone of you has been through past experiences that “you weren’t ready for.” And you overcame them due to the human ability to adapt and fight

The same principle is used to changes in lifestyle. Such as taking on a new diet, losing weight, and WEARING THE HIJAB
If you say “when I’m ready” then you’ll never be ready. And you say it to comfort yourself

Life isn’t about whether or not you’re ready for something. Life is about movement and movement comes from action

This action leads to becoming who you want to be
Become the living embodiment of YOUR values and beliefs. Only then WILL YOU BE RESPECTED

Honor belongs to those who live as beacons of their own values. We all have our own struggles, and it’s your job to overcome them

And May Allah make it easier for sisters to wear hijab
Allah has made it an obligation
