2. Diaphragm: Use each time you have sex
3. Sponge: Use each time you have sex
4. Female condom: Use each time you have sex
5. Withdrawal: Use each time you have sex
6. Spermicide: Use each time you have sex
7. Cervical cap: Use each time you have sex
8. Rhythm method: Use throughout sexually active period
9. Pill: Needs to be taken every day
10. Combined shot: 30 days
11. One-hormone shot:12 weeks
Long-term birth control methods include:

1. Implant: Inserted once, it will work for three years
2. IUD: Inserted once, it will work for 5 – 12 years
3. Vasectomy: Permanent
4. Female sterilisation: Permanent
Other forms of #contraception include:

- Abstinence
- Outercourse
- Emergency contraception
