The US Navy is proposing to detonate WW2 era bombs that they discovered buried in the sand last year on Molokini crater. Molokini crater is just off the coast of the island of Maui in Hawai'i

When I say just off the coast I MEAN just off the coast Molokini crater is about 2.5 MILES off the coast of Maui Island. Molokini crater is just one of many places the Military has used for bombing target practice in our islands and its destroyed many of the native life

The Navy has proposed that rather than taking the bombs farther out to sea to detonate and remove them safely, they want to risk the lives of the Native plants and animals on the crater and in the ocean around the crater to detonate the bombs on the islet

Not only is this endangering the lives of the animals and plants but also the lives of the people on Maui a mere 2.5 miles away from the crater. Please sign this petition and help us protect the culture and lives on the crater
