do kpop stans not know that the “respect all groups even if you don’t stan” narrative was a marketing tactic to maximize a company’s profit with their multiple groups and that you’re lowkey perpetuating that kpop is a monolith
like why do i have to withhold any criticism i might have towards a kpop group??? just cuz they’re also korean and in the same industry as the people i stan ???? that’s not a reason, they’re still singers putting out music and they’re still subject to criticism
if people are being rude or wtv and you wanna fight that specific person go ahead but to then say “we need to respect all groups!” no we really don’t lol. i’ll respect an artist if they put out good music that’s about it
anyways i could be wrong but i’m pretty sure they allude to the “kpop family” tactic in the kpop episode of explained
