Blockchain fallacy of the day: "block time equals time to finality."

It sounds stupid when I put it like that, but lots of people try to brag about fast blocks. Literally no one cares, except the people who are cut out of protocol due to excessively short block times.
Also, there are tons of people who think 1-conf is sufficient. It isn't. The suffix of a blockchain is its working area, subject to change. If it's not buried under n blocks, it's not finalized -- just a hope and an aspiration.
The same people understand that BTC has to wait for 6-conf as Satoshi gently explained in his whitepaper, but act like 1-conf is sufficient for their own coin. Makes no sense.
