I built a bizness in a weird niche

- Spent over $80,000 in advertising
- Built it to over 25,000 followers across social media and email list

Here are some key lessons I learnt

1. Building a biz through your passion is possible...

IF there's a market for it.

Sounds obvious but clearly it's not for most people

2. Always try to add a unique angle to what you do

You will always have tons of competition within that niche

You just have to differentiate (your USP), to stand out & be more appealing

3. Ride the high's and lows'

There will be days you make ZERO dolars

And days you make $800 while eating steak with your wife

You didn't "make it," and you didn't fail....

One was a big wave, another was a small wave

Nothing more, nothing less

4. Have a personality

Especially applicable if you're building an email list

Your unique personality (ramp it up a bit), will develop a strong customer base & make you stand out

This is one of the BEST parts of building an email list...

5. Don't just have one product

Build an upsell (need I elaborate?)

6. Your main asset is your email list

Build it from day 1

7. Value IS king

(but not in the way you think)

I.E. There are many great pastors giving amazing knowledge (for their crowd).

However, nobody cares to listen.

Why?

They don't give that knowledge in an engaging way...

#1 mistake I see people doing

Avoid it at all costs
