You can only experience your Indian identity and culture as an aspect of your present reality and community in, you guessed it, India.

If you don’t want to look at your life through an IRISH lens, you’re free to leave Ireland.

No one feels bad for u race baiter. https://twitter.com/repealist_/status/1276526792149553153
I’ve lived as an immigrant in multiple counties and I honestly cannot understand the entitlement one has to have to think anyone owes you an identity, community, coddling or handout in THEIR nation. This is not your turf. Want to feel at home? Go home. You aren’t owed anything.
The gaul to be posing in a sari in the Irish countryside moaning about how her culture is experienced in retrospect 😂 that’s the Irish people’s fault how!?! You left! Lmao it’s your problem. They deserve to feel at home in their nation they don’t have to change a thing to suit u
Final thought on this.

I lived in Ireland for 6 and 1/2 years and in Belgium for 2. I felt isolated, alone, confused about my identity there LOADS of times even tho I’m white living amongst whites. You know why? Because Irish and Belgium people are distinct ethically.
They have clannish ways of socializing and there own ways of doing things. Never once did I feel like it was their responsibility to accommodate me as my host. I always felt that it was my duty to try to fit in and manage my issues as an immigrant on my own. Bc I’m a good guest.
This woman Caulking up her discomfort to the Irish being “white” is so nefarious bc it detaches all the unique, beautiful and charming qualities of Irish people that she can’t relate to as “whiteness.” It’s the epitome of racism.
Omg sorry for all the typos this is tweeting with a newborn 😅
You get the absolute GIFT of living as an immigrant in Ireland, one of the most stunning and incredible countries on earth and ur complaining it doesn’t look enough like the shithole you left behind!? GTFO

I can not believe the lack of gratitude. My mind is rattled by it.
