I used data to find the young, modern-day equivalents of each player starring in Jose Mourinho's famous treble winning Inter Milan squad.

GOALKEEPER:

Julio Cesar possessed lightning-fast reflexes and incredible agility, he also wasn't afraid to rush out to collect passes in behind.

Gautier Larsonneur shares many of these traits, particularly his ability to make impressive reaction saves.
RIGHT-BACK:

Maicon was nothing short of incredible, driving the team forward and forging chances though his crossing and creativity.

Jayden Bogle, still only 19, is showing signs of the offensive quality that Maicon had, with his dribbling being particularly impressive.
CENTRE-BACK (R):

One of the most unique defenders on the planet, Lucio was proactive in all areas of his game. Stepping out to win the ball and making line-breaking runs.

Marin Pongragic, has the defensive ability to play this role, along with the quality to break the lines
CENTRE-BACK (L):

Walter Samuel compliments Lucio well, with his passing, dribbling and defending being considerably more measured. He also boasted impressive physical and defensive qualities.

Mohammed Salisu shadows his style well, possessing the quality to play this role well.
LEFT-BACK:

From full-back, Zanetti controlled the game. He was a composed decision maker, keeping play ticking with his accurate passing.

Stanley N'Soki is showing promise this season, possessing the intelligence and defensive quality to mirror him.
DEFENSIVE-MIDFIELD (R):

Esteban Cambiasso was vital to how to team functioned, shutting down passing lanes and plugging gaps all over the field.

Mahdi Camara shares signs of the impressive ball-winning ability of the Argentinan, but definitely needs work on the ball.
DEFENSIVE-MIDFIELD (L):

Dejan Stankovic shuttled from box to box, expertly winning the ball back and kick-starting attacks with his range of passing.

Xaver Schlager possesses the aggression and ball wining ability of his counterpart, and can be the catalyst for attacks.
RIGHT-MIDFIELD:

Samuel Eto'o, formerly a striker, played on the right for Mourinho's side. His explosiveness, movement, and finishing meant he was a threat for any opponent.

Patson Daka's pace and intelligent run-making are eerily similar to the former Inter star.
ATTACKING-MIDFILD:

Wesley Sneidjer was the creator in the side, given the freedom to carve out chances for rest of the team. His vision was paramount to Inter's success

Leonardo Fernandez's technique is turning heads in Uruguay, and has all the quality to play this role
LEFT-MIDFILED:

A natural striker, Goran Pandev's versatility and work-rate meant he was able to provide much-needed balance, vital for a Mourinho team.

Mikel Oyarzabal has the intelligence to support the team in transition, whilst also having the discipline to track back.
STRIKER:

Diego Milito was a complete #9, possessing almost no holes in his game. Also, his willingness to run the channels and in behind made him a perfect tactical fit

Whilst being more athletic, Myron Boadu shares the deadly movement and unselfish nature of Milito.
