This is why having a sense of urgency, responsibility and the readiness to ACT can move you from point A to Z.

Again, you are RESPONSIBLE for your OWN life and growth.

You come on social media and there are people who use their mobile data, time, effort & electricity to search and share relevant and meaningful information, opportunities & resources with you.

You can utilize the info.

Nobody is here to spoon-feed you. It shows laziness when some1 shares a link & you're asking unnecessary questions because you didn't take time to CLICK on the link & CAREFULLY READ the info on the website. You want a change? Improve your career readiness & employability skills.

We all need to embrace lifelong learning, continuously acquiring new knowledge and skills to thrive in an ever-changing and increasingly connected world.

Yes self-determination learning, continuous learning can bring the change and acceleration you want in your life.

If we can make changes as individuals, and in our roles self-determination learners in our various communities both onlime and on social media, we can turn the challenges we face into opportunities for personal, career, financial, psychosocial, economic, and societal growth.

There are some things you should focus on as an individual:

A. Core academic competencies (education shouldn't be limited to the classroom. Learning can occur anywhere)

B. Personal & social capabilities

C. Career knowledge & transitional skills

D. Occupational competencies

One key component of career readiness is the ability to put core academic knowledge — like literacy, numeracy, writing & critical thinking skills to use in the workplace. Mastery of these core competencies prepares you to analyze, reason, plan, & organize to make sound decisions.

The ability to build and maintain effective relationships is critical to success in any career. Personal and social capabilities, or “soft skills,” are the interpersonal skills and personal qualities that enable you to manage yourself and interact effectively with others.

Preparing yourself for long-term success as your career goals and employment opportunities evolve over time. With an understanding of career pathways and a well-developed set of transition skills like networking, you are better prepared to progress to and within your career.

Career readiness requires the mastery of occupation-specific competencies developed in both formal & experiential learning environments. This includes mastering specialized skills required to complete the functions & tasks of a particular job.

Write a personal development plan.

Coming in Twitter and feeling entitled to people's time, effort and labour shows you are not ready. Nothing is free in this world (those people tweeting resources spend money on mobile data, electricity, etc. to search on the internt, curate list of resources to share).

You cannot come here and be demanding availability for unpaid labour from someone that you are neither feeding, housing nor clothing.

Go and work on your internet research skills, information literacy, career readiness and employability skills. Also add CQ and ESI skills.
