@EdReports is providing info on how high quality instructional materials can support remote learning. Important as educators, district leaders, parents figure out how to do high quality learning for fall 2020, which must include digital learning due to COVID uncertainties. https://twitter.com/EdReports/status/1276618234754727937
Things I'd ask:
1. Is your school/district using a high quality curriculum? (check reports)
2. How does that curriculum support continuous learning should school be disrupted again? (check tech info)
3. Is your school/district providing educator support on materials, tech?
the answers to these q's are as urgent as investments to address digital divide if we want to avoid this spring's demonstrated learning inequities. See @MatthewAKraft's great thread capturing what we've seen in spring. We can something about this. https://twitter.com/MatthewAKraft/status/1275865141733711875?s=20
