After The Chains Theory: A Thread

Hi, this theory is just a fruit of my imagination. It concerns about the second conflict on Uriel and Lucianna& #39;s story.

So as you notice, the names Cian and Sean are pronounced the same. In ATC& #39;s Simula, you can see that Lucianna didn& #39;t want anyone calling her Cian, maybe because it sounds like Sean — the girl she hated way back then. ++

Sean digs for rich and handsome men. Assuming na nakapunta nga siya sa party ng mga Mercadejas kasama si Leo noon, Uriel caught her attention so she tried to hit on him (or fl*rted w/ him). But perhaps, Uriel didn& #39;t find her interesting enough. ++

Perhaps, that time, Sean introduced herself as "Cian" Almodovar (so that people won& #39;t get confused na "Sean" ang tawag sa kanya ni Leo). At siguro& #39;y nakarating kay Senyora na dumalo ang isang Almodovar, so from then, she assumed that Lucianna& #39;s nickname was Cian. ++

So when Cian first met Uriel personally, Uriel seemed like he knew Cian already. Siguro, napansin niyang hawig nga ang babae sa mga pictures na pinakita sa kanya ng Senyora at ang babaeng nakilala niya sa party. ++

The way Uriel asked Cian about the "party" somehow denoted that he and Sean had an interaction sa party (4th pic). And to think that Uriel knew na pupunta ang isang "Cian" doon seemed suspicious (3rd pic). Maybe Sean said she& #39;ll try to go back there next vacation? ++

But then, Uriel may have noticed Lucianna& #39;s attitude — na malayong malayo sa ugali ng nakilala niyang "Cian" noon. Dito pa lang, Uriel seemed to realize that the two girls were actually different. Sean showed him motives, but Lucianna boldly told him she didn& #39;t like him. ++

Uriel was falling for Cian (Kab 4-12). I guess he never really dared to hang with another girls after Cian left the mansion (1st pic). Maybe Cian& #39;s words kept on hunting him so he didn& #39;t try — it was also futile since he had already grown feelings for her (2nd and 3rd pic). ++

Now going back to Simula, it was said there that Cian and Uriel broke up — it means that they eventually got into a relationship. I think that the ones Cian& #39;s pertaining to "that girl" was really Sean — kaya ayaw na rin niyang matawag na Cian. ++

And kaya niya siguro natukoy na "Uriel& #39;s finding a way to get himself that girl" was because Sean did something horrible that could possibly ruin Cian& #39;s name (since they look alike)? ++

Maybe a lewd video or sumn like making out with other men? Kaya tinutugis ni Uriel si Sean to prevent or fix issues that may or has come out already. To save Lucianna. ++

I actually concluded that the conflict aroused because of a foul deed Sean has caused — if ever siya itong tinutukoy ni Sonja na escort. ++

Some are also speculating that Sean is Lucianna& #39;s half sister since they really look the same! Siguro ay maipagkakaiba mo lang sila kung tititigan o kung malapit kang kakilala. ++

And the speculation is actually possible! In Simula, ayaw na ni Cian umuwi sa kanila. Maybe nalaman na niya na kapatid niya si Sean? And Sean& #39;s probably living in their house already? ++

Ayaw na rin niyang magpakita sa Mom niya dahil baka her Mom grew fond of Sean na? Hindi na rin nabanggit ang dad niya sa Simula so maybe he& #39;s dead (it& #39;s just a thought, & #39;wag naman sana)? And he told his family that he& #39;s got another child before he died? ++

Anw, how come Lucianna seemed certain na hindi siya pakakasalan ni Uriel? It is somehow another misunderstanding and miscommunication like that of Kajik and Andra. ++

Maybe she overheard Uriel& #39;s family talking about fixed marriage? Inakala niya siguro na hindi naman siya totoong mahal ni Uriel at tanging ang kagustuhan lang ng pamilyang Mercadejas ang nagtulak sa kanila para magsama? ++

Kaya umatras si Cian sa kanilang engagement. And as for Uriel, maybe he refused the fixed marriage thing because he wants to do it the right way. He wants to get married with Cian because they love each other. ++

In WOTW, it was stated that Uriel is not a fan of pragmatic marriage. And in ATC& #39;s prev chapters, lagi niyang pinaparating na gusto niya ng relasyong seryoso. He wants Cian to take him seriously. So maybe that explains it. ++

Hindi rin siya nabalita na may ibang babae even after their "so-called" breakup. It& #39;s because he loves Cian and like the other jboys, he didn& #39;t probably take the breakup seriously. He just considered it as "giving space" to Cian. ++

Malabo rin na ang conflict ay ang pagkakaroon niya ng past or physical contact kay Sean because jboys aren& #39;t flawed that way. If you& #39;d also notice CLS, the second conflict is always lighter than the first ones so don& #39;t get too bothered. Trust the characters and Ate J. ++

Additional: I also noticed a sort of foreshadowing on this line from Kabanata 2. Maybe Cian would really assume that Uriel never liked her? Kaya sa Simula ay ayaw na niya ng kahit anong may kaugnayan sa lalaki.
