Louder for the ppl in the back: Issuing corrections isn't about underminding/disliking ppl. Not from me, at any rate. I simply have no interest in seeing our fellow polytheists shoot themselves in the foot by unwittingly supporting items from White Supremacist handbooks. (1)

I understand it's embarrassing to recant things/admit ignorance. Doesn't feel good. But YOU must understand that digging your heels & marrying yourself to mistakes is not just killing your own reputation in certain quarters: it's also killing polytheism's Second Wind. (2)

Our words matter immensely. We are our Gods' representatives to the world. When we make apologies for & refuse to accept corrections on racist lines/symbols, we are not just alienating fellows & potential converts: we are insulting the Gods by misrepresenting Them to others. (3)

I know many ppl who've made such excuses aren't legit, conscious racists/Nazi fans. But perpetuating/benefiting from racism is bigger than our own personal convictions & our personal convictions don't excuse special pleading for (often easily-debunked) racist memes. (4)

As a movement, we need to not only more kind about calling-in *instead of* calling-out. We must also be more impersonally receptive to "new" information/correction, esp. when our movement wants to include & protect Indigenous/non-Euro traditions. No one perspective sees all. (5)

The moment anyone makes it about themselves, they've lost the plot. This is about protecting/promoting polytheisms. This is not about "you" qua ego. We cannot promote/protect polytheisms when any one of us gives shelter to racist ideas and symbols. (6)

Racist ideas/symbols are inherently non-plural. What is non-plural is anti-polytheist on the most fundamental level. Euro polytheists especially need to learn to I.D. Ariosophistry & tear it out by the roots, NOT make defensive apologies for its most idiosyncratic symbols. (7)

You're not doing anyone but WSs favors when you use the SS CULT 12-SIGS-IN-A-CIRCLE, rather than the very different-looking designs from Ancient & Early Medieval Zierscheiben. You're using a known Nazi-only symbol. This does not make polytheism appealing to sensible ppl. (8)

Please stop using that symbol if you have, & learn to NOT marry yourself to "sexy," fashy B&W graphics. Marry yourself to a love for the Gods, Who are not mere symbols nor reducible to them. There are many ways to rep Gods. The Schwarze Sonne has never been it. Defend it not. (9)

Euro Polytheists: I know you feel blamed for many things you weren't alive to do that caused generational pain. I am not here to shame you. This is about what you DO NOW w/ what you learn about historical sins/hatreds. You are here to break the wheel you inherited. Break it. (10)

It's less about the mistakes & misdeeds your more recent ancestors committed & the ugly things they made out of spite for "others." It's much more about what we DO NOW, together, being able to I.D. these things. (11)
