On pokerfuse, our early reveal has proven to be spot on. It is missing a couple of facts - Milly Maker also comes with a $5M guarantee, and missing on this list is the NLHE Asia Championship. https://pokerfuse.com/news/live-and-online/211515-exclusive-reveal-ggpoker-wsop-online-highlights-schedule/
Also, while we're on content up on @pokerfuse, if you're interested in the NV/NJ bracelet series, check out this big FAQ that answers everything you might want to know.
For this thread, we're going to be talking the GG series for international players. https://pokerfuse.com/news/poker-room-news/211512-ultimate-guide-2020-wsop-online-bracelet-events/

The 1 fact everyone is focused on is the "22 Day 1 flights" for the Main Event. I've said this a few times, but I'll say it one more time: This fact was briefly up on P5s but was removed soon after publication. It was not in the PR.
I wrote some more on 2+2 about this.

So we don't know how many Day 1 flights there will be right now. But there's probably going to be quite a few.
The first Day 1 starts on August 16, and Day 2 kicks off on August 30, leaving a wide gap for a long Day 1 schedule.

So maybe GG is rethinking this strategy, but it's going to have to be that kind of ballpark, I imagine. It's a $5k event with $25m guaranteed. This aint gonna be a freezeout. Unless they have a v aggressive satellite schedule.
There's an interesting thing in the schedule. The vast majority are 1 day events, and permit 2 re-entries max
However, all but one of the tournaments with guarantees are multi-day, and of those - all but one will have multiple flights. Most will allow re-entries on the flights.

But when you look at the size of the events, that's hardly surprising. The Big 50 is $46+4 and guarantees $1 million.
That's almost 22,000 entries to cover.
Other huge ones:
- $475+$25 mini-Main, $5 million = ~10,500 entries
- $400 Colossus $3 million guarantee ~8000

The one that's a freezeout wit ha guarantee: A rebranded GGMasters. $150 buy-in.
Normally has $500k guarantee (and is currently overlaying). Will have $1 million for WSOP Edition.
That's *very* ambitious for a freezeout in my mind.

It appears as I've been writing this thread (or at least in the last couple of hours), GG has added another guaranteed freezeout to the schedule.
Now there's a $1500 GG Masters WSOP Edition with $25 million guarantee and is a *freezeout*
Comparing with P5s schedule posted on Friday, it seems this event has been inserted, and one event lower down has been removed - #50 People's Choice Event [Asia]
So that's +$2.5m onto the total gtd, and what could be GG's response to players wanting more freeze-outs.

Anyway, that was an exciting diversion. So now we have 2 ambitious freezeouts on there with guarantees, and all non-guaranteed events are 2RE max.
But for some of the others, expect a LOT of phases. For example, they are rebranding (and upping gtds) for their multi-MILLION$

Normally these have 28 phases throughout the week, last time we counted. That's what it takes to get a $1 million guaranteed, $100 buy-in tournament to fill every week (unless you're PokerStars). For the WSOP edition, the guarantee is $2 million.
What else is in the schedule? Some nice variety - 2 events, lots of bounty, good splash of PLO and Short Deck, a PLO bounty - and some fun ones, like the People’s Choice events.
They have some events starting midday GMT for the Asian crowd evening crowd, and one bracelet denominated in HK dollars with a (equiv of $1k buy-in, $1m guarantee).
There are 2 leaderboards:
Pure Gold Dragon for top performer Asian
Pure Gold Mouse for top performer on all events
(or maybe it's
)

So big open questions hopefully clarified this week:
- The Day 1 phase schedule for all the bracelet events
- Sattie structure. They have a micros-to-main plan here that starts in a couple of days.
- The promotions - $5 million giveaway, apparently, no details yet.

Also, whether there will be a massive championships around this or if GG/WSOP will keep it to just the bracelets.
WSOP has just announced a huge $6 million Online Championships with 140 events in US.
(available in DE too, tho bracelets are NV/NJ only)

I'm hoping GG doesn't go crazy here like they did with WSOPC a couple of months ago - 600+ events and $100 million guaranteed. But we'll have to wait and see.
