Here's why we love microchips.

Maxine and her husband were driving down 435 when they spotted a white dog in the highway. And Maxine, being the kind-hearted person she is, knew she had to stop and help. The little white dog jumped right into her car.
The little dog was so friendly she decided to call him Friend. But she also knew that he was owned by someone. He was just too sweet and well cared for. At her home, Friend immediately started playing with Maxine's dogs. He also jumped in bed with her to sleep.
With a lot of places closed, she couldn't find somewhere to get Friend scanned until she made it down to us from Lansing. That's when we found a chip and - BONUS - the details were up to date. Thirty minutes later Ann showed up to an excited dog, who we learned was called Casper.
Another happy ending thanks to microchips and updated info on http://found.org .

Thank, Maxine, for being a good person and making sure another family gets back together.
