During the Second Sino-Japanese War " Nanjing Massacre" took place. Where chinese allegedly claimed that lakhs of people were murdered n raped by imperial Japanese army. Japanese army n Govt completely denied the report claiming that china is giving false statement

Japan knew that china will started playing politics and start gaining brownies from Nanjing Massacre which was as expected and it happened too.
