The U.S. Constitution's Fifth Amendment contains a Double Jeopardy Clause, which says that no person shall

"be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb."

This basically means an individual cannot be tried twice for the same crime. This means that if you went to trial and were acquitted, the prosecution can't try the same case against you again.

It also means that you can't be punished twice for the same crime.

This is a striking resemblance to scripture .

God found the ultimate Loophole to this clause . He sent Jesus ! Jesus Paid the ultimate price ! We paid it im him , WE DIED IN HIM and it was ONCE for all time .
