Protect yourself from doxxing

Please spread and protect your Desi moots

For those who don’t know, doxxing is revealing a person’s private info (address, full name, contact details, where they work etc.)
Doxxing is ILLEGAL and never okay.

Important things to do:
- Use a VPN
- Do not reveal your full name
- Do not post anything with logos that could reveal where you work/go to school
- Do not tell people your phone no./email/private info, even via DMs

- Block + report internet trolls
- Use a strong password
- Remove selfies after a while
- Avoid public WiFi, everything is traceable
- Vary your Passwords for different accounts
- Do not link your stan account to personal if it has your info (age, school, location etc.)

Make sure you do not DM people your personal info, even if they are a trusted moot. If your account is hacked the hacker will have access to all this information.
