do people know that when they use the term "Judeo-christian" they're fulfilling colonial Christianity's goal of destroying Judaisms individuality and replacing it with Christian beliefs

christianity has historically tried to erase judaism from everything, including from the things they took from Judaism, so when you use the term "judeo-christian" you're affirming their work in literally obliterating judaism

if you're talking about Judaism, use the word. if you're talking about Christianity, use the word.

if you genuinely believe that Judaism & Christianity have enough in common to lump just the two of them together, you don't have enough knowledge to be speaking on the topic

people also specifically use this phrase to "other" Islam and use Judaism as a shield for their Islamophobia.

If you're actually talking about a belief found in ALL THREE, use Abrahamic, but you better be sure that it actually does exist in all 3, and not just Christianity.

people are responding to this by saying that they were oppressed by Christianity and therefore this is okay not realizing that they're literally proving my entire point.

you conflate Judaism w/ Christianity and are aiding in their erasure of Judaism bc of christianity.
