The church needs to realize that “young people” struggle with more than just ‘boyfriend & girlfriend’ issues.
Young women struggle with more than just “getting a man” & appearance#. There’s a deeper rooted issue.
So when the question is asked “why are young people not committed to Christ” or “why are young people leaving Christianity” it’s because you haven’t ruled them to Christ to even learn how to cling to Him.
It’s always “this generation is so bad” maybe it’s because sermons to the “youth” are focused on how bad they are, instead of the God that can pull them out of the dirt. Truth is we’re all “bad” at every age, but we have a good Savior.
Imagine going to the hospital, and you’re bleeding internally. The doctor comes in and gives you medicine then sends you home. You’ll be back again w/ the SAME condition because the doctor was focused on the symptom and not the root or cause.
I believe that’s what’s happening today with young people & the church.
