Josh isn’t the best run blocking Tight End that I’ve seen but he understands leverage. He displays that to perfection here, acting as the lead blocker he shields the outside run lane for the QB to get the Rush TD. #KroenickFilm

Fantastic play by Josh and the QB on this rep. Once they realize it’s zone coverage, Josh turns his head once he’s passed the LBs. Finding the hole in the zone, Josh and his QB link up for a big time 1st down. Notice Joshs hands in traffic or while being hit. #KroenickFilm
Something to work on in 2020 for Josh, he’s supposed to let the Edge rusher collapse the LOS so the QB can go outside. But Josh doesn’t keep blocking once he gets the edge, if he had the QB could have had more yards to gain. Always look for someone to block! #KroenickFilm
Presnap Josh is lined up In the slot. He gets off the LOS quickly and shimmy’s his right shoulder inside so he can gain inside leverage, this allows Josh to use his body as a screen for the pass. Notice how high Josh holds the ball after the catch? Smart play! #KroenickFilm
Love this block from Pederson, he drives the edge rusher into the ground allowing a lane for the RB to jump over the LOS without getting hit from his left. Well done! #KroenickFilm
Another example of something to work on in 2020 for Josh. Sustaining the block throughout the play, initially he does a good job of engaging the defenders chest but let’s go of the block. Allowing him to bring down the QB on the cutback. #KroenickFilm
Here’s an example of using proper technique of blocking the edge defender, notice how Josh engages the Defenders chest while turning him to the right. Just gotta keep the block even tho he didn’t impact the play! #KroenickFilm
This is a great play by Josh and the Qb. On this QB run to the right, Joshs motion to his right confuses the rusher, Josh keeps going outside and lead blocks for the QB on a sweep for a TD! There you go!! #KroenickFilm
Initially I like the proper technique by Josh when blocking a much bigger edge rusher. Gets his hands on the chest, keeps his hips low to allow his balance to be a foundation. Stands up the rusher. Well done. #KroenickFilm

Nothing happens here but I wanted to show Joshs awareness. He continues to stay behind the LOS looking for somebody to block. This avoids a penalty and keeps his QB clean to gain positive yards. Smart play! #KroenickFilm

BIG TIME TD for Josh and UL Monroe offense on this rep. He runs a fly route and jumps to meet the ball in the air. Even while being tackled and bobbling the ball Josh catches the football. Big time TD! #KroenickFilm

Josh runs their concrete play, a play action leak to the flat for a wheel route. It’s a highball but Josh brings down the football and charges upfield for about a 7 or 8 yard gain. Good chunk play for the offense. Sure hands. #KroenickFilm
Well executed trap block by Josh on this rep. He squares his shoulders to the rusher, engages his chest and stands him up. Giving a seal to the outside of the running lane for the RB to gallop through. #KroenickFilm
