You already have the "what makes God" of God inside you. Stop "looking" for it. Start leaning on it.
Rest on the reality of WHO YOU ARE in Christ.
Understand why Paul says Christ is your righteousness. The barometer is set to Christ as the standard.
In God's eyes you will always measure up.
To be born again is to be born from above.

Don't think of above as up but rather as Spirit.

To be born from the Spirit is to have your entire DNA sourced from Spirit.

The Spirit and the Word align.
Take care not to engage in so-called christian activity that attempt "make" you what you "already" are.

Listen, we pray because we are sons. We don't pray to be made sons.

Looks like semantics but let's say what the Word says.
Your day to day routine can be upended with a clearer consciousness of the One who is called your righteousness. It is easier to break the hold of the flesh when you reckon it to be dead.
Generational curses do not thrive in the kingdom of God. What fellowship (agreement) does light have with darkness? for avoidance of doubt, none.
It would be careless to allow a mentality that supports generational curses supersede the revelation of you as born of the word.

To be born of the Word means the chapters and pages of your life are lettered by God.

The lettering could be cursive but no single line of curse.
To every thing there is a season ... everything here is everything under heaven. Note carefully where Paul situates the believer in Ephesians 1 and 2: seated with Christ
The functional weather and atmospheric condition of the believer is IN CHRIST. He doesn't regard himself by the stars or the clouds.
Shifts in seasons (rise and fall) do not shift the status of the Saved man. He is steady and sturdy: rooted in Christ.
Sometimes our soul catches wind of events in the natural and the flesh prepares a powerpoint presentation of how we have reached our waterloo...

In these moments it is of utmost benefit to reach into the word and give our spirit ammunition with which to overcome.
The gospel is from Christ to you. You respond. You receive.

The finished work finished work.
You are a masterpiece - complete in Christ.
Once in Christ, Always in Christ.

Do you see a gap in your experience? Then keep keeping your confession.
One of the mysteries of the cross is that we died with Christ.

What died? our natural history that was sourced from Adam.

Old things have passed away.
This is our transformation

We went from [human beings] to [being in Christ]

A whole world... a saved species.
Guess what, you were found in Christ even before you were lost in Adam.

We could even say that in God's eyes you were never lost in Adam.

Your reality is His reality. No longer from dust to dust but from glory to glory.
Sin isn't just doing naughty stuff. It starts first from having a knotted up idea of God.

Sin is falling short of God's glory... i.e. opting to identify yourself as less than God's consideration of you.

When you see yourself in the Christ and reckon yourself dead to sin! voila!
You cannot behave yourself into heaven. You believe the reality that you are as Christ and with Christ.

It starts from this point and ends there.

Christ is author and finisher.
Don't treat yourself any less than Jesus.

You are everything He is and nothing that He is not.
Adam was designed to be made in the image of God.
Christ is the image of God.

We are in Christ. Check it... We are in Christ. We are in the image of God.
