I remember watching an ep of the 1st 48, a Black mother trying to find justice for her child, no one would listen..not police, nobody n she said “If no one was going to listen to me, I was going to start singing to the birds...” I see the argument of Breonna’s murder turning...
and Elijah, how his case is appealing to people bc of his gentle qualities. But also, nothing is moving in either of these cases, along w an endless number of Black people whose lives have been taken, Brown people also...
but how are these stories going to stay alive. How are we going to keep putting pressure on the system to serve justice for our murdered brothers and sisters. It just seems like a virtual way of singing to the birds...
to conclude the anecdote that i started w this thread, justice was served, in some type of divine intervention like way, a chain of events/synchronities that led to solving her case...
These are uprecedented times, there is a force beyond this reality, this land of babble that feels like a light in these dark days, everything, a force being amplified by our inner unspoken pain, the pain of our ancestors, i mean the same North star is out there in the sky. idk.
