hey @youtube why have some of the biggest creators on the platform been allowed to monetize videos with “jokes” about sexual abuse, pedophilia, racial slurs & blackface? and not one video. HUNDREDS of videos with MILLIONS of views? what was the ad revenue share on your end?

for context. in 2012 “shit white girls say...to black girls” went viral with a little over 12 million views. i made about $35k off that video & around $10k from the increased views across my channel. Shane Dawson has 23 million subs & averages at least 10 million views per video

8 years later i still make around $300 a month from that one video.

Shane has literally made MILLIONS off videos normalizing vile racist attitudes about Black ppl & other POC, rape, child abuse etc & yet “i feel so awful for the racist things i did” is “accountability?”
