This proposal from the Greens is beneficial to the entire working class, probably to the greatest extent those currently in work. We should all be pushing that context.

This would allow working class people to take risks with a level of security. You could have a kid, buy a house, quit your shit job, know you can pay a certain amount of rent etc without having a mass of savings or loosing savings for things like home ownership or retirement

See the problem with the post ruthanasia welfare system is that it has not been a social safety net. It has been a trap, a threat and a divider of the working class. A move away from that benefits all of us.

A vote for the greens is actually a vote for harm reduction unlike a vote against the likes of National.
