Just some of the successful dividend plays in the PSE.

When reality catches up with the PSE due to this pandemic, most of us will to turn to dividends for safer trades.

Recently, it was brought to my attention that the PSE disclosures posted are up to 2 years only. Check randomly, any stock in Edge. Disclo all up to July 2018. Next month, it will be up to Aug 2018.

Does it matter? To me, yes.

One suggested method :

1. Pick your preferred stock/s.
2. Go to Edge, save the divs declaration for the past 2 years. If annually, you will just have to save 3 files. If quarterly, 12 files.
3. Set an alert on your phone, 2 weeks before the next divs declaration.
4. Update.

Dividends are given regularly. Recently, we had cancellations, new normal. But schedule is 'fixed'. To bet on it, set alert at least 2 weeks before.
Ex :
for 2019, declared June 15, 2020
alert for 2020, June 1, 2020.

For the divs play, you want to be EARLY. To be late is WRONG

Here's a great idea.
1. Compile the divs disclo of ALL PSE stocks from 1990 to present.
2. Use algo to Find correlation between the stock movement & divs announcement.
3. Determine which stock has increasing divs over the period of 30 years
4. Set a bot alert on your phone.
