Yesterday I was supposed to be #jinglegolfing in Tennessee. Instead I was playing taxi to an appointment. While I waited I entered a package store I had heard had an excellent selection and was blessed with the perfect beer to enjoy while missing #jinglefest @JerryNegrelli 1/???

I didn& #39;t know this existed, it was just there! This is obviously some serious QE, right @buffalo_alice?

I am extremely sad I won& #39;t get to see the slightly depraved, extremely loyal and utterly spectacular littles tonight at #jinglefest Now shoutouts. 2/???

Last year& #39;s #jinglefest was everything I had hoped for and in many ways needed. @jkm563 and @ernursemem are amazing and broke all the ice I needed breaking (and I need lots of ice breaking) including picking me up at the airport with the best sign ever created. 3/???

Driving to Chatter for the @SpeakTangents pod and then to Nats game with the Millers and @joeythejammer and @robbins_jenny was spectacular entertainment with a myriad of sight seeing points (maybe) and stories of littles and bigs alike. 4/???

The baseball game as organized by @JBabsSportsChic was fantastic. A whole section of seats where people could just mingle and talk baseball or whatever. 5/???

Jinglegolf was great. @shadfromdc is a superstar for setting that up and my team of @BobbyGottfried @SmittyScoop and @TomMiskowiec had a blast and almost came close to maybe potentially competing for the @hatofexcellence 6/???

Friday night I was tired but @ernursemem picked me up after my nap and brought me to the @mrlip5 organized #minglefest, @robbins_jenny gave me whiskey you couldn& #39;t call bourbon and then @jkm563 @MoffettPatrick and I talked Sawx and it felt like home 7/???

Saturday night was amazing. I could hardly contain my glee seeing the jinglers and felt privileged (that word feels wrong) to see @theRealDKEfect perform live. Kudos to you @JerryNegrelli I don& #39;t know how you have the time or patience, and I only have half the kids you do. 8/???

I& #39;ve got other memorable encounters with @JamesIV1978 @Adidiah @jbhoops32 @honeycrisp @Sean_Morrissey @judofuse @lukeoverbey @r3t2 @buffalo_alice I& #39;m trying not to leave anyone out, but there are so many of you and you are all so nice so please don& #39;t take it personally. 9/???

In the end maybe I& #39;m overstating it for everyone else, but for me #jinglefest became more than a concert or a weekend. It reminded me how special it is to meet like minded people who you can respect, trust and share beer, baseball, music, bourbon, golf and stories with. 10/???

And I hope that that& #39;s what #jinglefest
is to others as well.

I& #39;m missing you all tonight, those I& #39;ve met, those I was to meet and those I& #39;ll just talk with here. Cheers to you all and may all your LaCheeseries be merry.
