Manuduitagi (Na Manu e dui tagica na vinaka - Na niu sa lelevata) is actually a declaration of respect for each yavu. Each yavu vakaturaga needs to be acknowledged, each voice heard and given equal respect. It is not an opportunity to disrespect each other because of territory.
'Manu dui tagica na vinaka (Manuduitagi) - Niu sa lele vata' signifies unity of chiefs subsequently means that the vanua will acknowledge all chiefs in unity.

The misconception and common opinion is that it means elitism, existing in isolation. That's the big head approach.
If you're going to use Manuduitagi, use it correctly. We from Kadavu want no part in your dokadoka and your viavialevu dravusa.
