We honor God’s Word by hearing and obeying it with every grace possible

We do not honor God’s Word by wrapping ourselves in its name and then undermining its doctrine or morals

We honor God’s Word by upholding its verbal plenary inspiration by the Holy Spirit along with its concomitant inerrancy, infallibility, sufficiency, clarity, and authority

We do not honor God’s Word by extolling these precious doctrines with an immoral, contentious spirit

We honor God’s Word by recognizing that it originates with God, is maintained by God, and is given to accomplish God’s purposes

We do not honor God’s Word by assuming that we originate it, that it depends upon our evil actions to maintain it, or that his Word serves our purposes

We honor God’s Word by upholding its perfect authority and divine sufficiency to accomplish God’s perfect will in his way

We do not honor God’s Word when we presume that we have a superior claim to authority through misusing the doctrines of its authority and sufficiency

We honor God’s Word by proclaiming it in its totality to everyone possible and by encouraging every other Christian to proclaim God’s Word

We do not honor God’s Word by a selfish clericalist attitude toward God’s people, presuming we possess more of his Spirit than does his body

We honor God’s Word by encouraging everyone to read and interpret God’s Word on their own and with the people of God regularly

We do not honor God’s Word by extolling the sufficiency of God’s Law but then adding words to God’s Law in order to preserve it by our weak human powers

We honor God’s Word by allowing God to reshape our proud hearts and wicked minds as we listen to one another speak as led by the Spirit in all believers

We do not honor God’s Word by refusing to listen to God’s people, restricting ourselves to a private sect or personality cult

We honor God’s Holy Word by reading it, memorizing it, and speaking it, presenting it compellingly to every person, lost or saved

We do not honor God’s Word by talking about it while not listening to it, or by taking away from it, adding to it, or changing it in the sleightest

We honor God’s Word by ensuring that we are careful to preach not only its law but also its promise

We do not honor God’s Word by imposing modernist paradigms upon it, whether from deceptive Enlightenment Liberalism or its equally deceptive sister, Enlightenment Fundamentalism

We honor God’s Word by praying that God’s Spirit will work through its proclamation in the gathered congregation

We do not honor God’s Word by presuming the scholar on his or her own captures the Word through the Historical Critical Method or any other humanistic method

We honor God’s Word by centering upon the Good News that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, who died upon the Cross and arose from death to grant justification to those who hear and believe

We do not honor God’s Word by decentering the weightier matter of the Gospel
