When will the perception of Sweden being a super-liberal and super-socialist country go away? There is an equal amount of people who are centrists and right-wingers, so don’t make Sweden out to be a left-wing paradise because it’s not, we have our own issues too

Saw tweets in relation to an article about racism within the Swedish police where someone referred to black Swedes as “not real Swedes” and there were cops who claimed that kneeling and sympathizing with the BLM movement is equal to doing the Hitler salute

Even some assholes who clinged on to the theory that George Floyd died in the hospital instead of in the hands of the police, which is just preposterous

Saw Alexander Bard (an asshole) say that cops shouldn’t be present or take a stance at BLM or pride protests because cops should focus on solving crimes and maintaining law and order. In that case, why are cops sent out to protect literal Nazi’s during their demonstrations?

A lot of white people have criticized the BLM and Antifa movements, yet a lot of them make the idea of being an anti-racist and anti-fascist sound worse than being a Nazi or fascist or racist. Again, I’ve only seen white peoples say this stuff

I’ve seen a lot of people being upset about the Simpson’s deciding to no longer let white actors voice minority characters, and claiming somehow white people are being discriminated against. Like, talk about completely missing the point

Also what’s wrong with having minorities genuinely represented? Like, is that really too much to ask? But no, as soon as we try to fix things for the better sensitive white peoples go “we’re being discriminated against boo hoo”
