TODAY, the prezzydent tweeted out numerous pictures of protestors (majority for BLM, progressive groups) asking people to identify them, bc they allegedly vandalized monuments in Lafayette Park, with the letterhead UNITED STATE PARK POLICE...

According to http://NPS.gov , the descrip of the US Park Police is "The Force functions as a unit of the National Park Service with jurisdiction in all Federal parks" and is one of the oldest federal enforcement agencies

This thread may be long so before I go further I will state the two things I'm most worried about here. 1. secret police to support a terrorist/totalitarian regime 2. limiting mobility in and out of country when this happens so there is no escape (including to us citizens)

ok, ever since our buddy boy Donny got into office, he has slashed funding for National Parks, and aggressively gutted the infrastructure of national park funding/protection, AND removed protections for national monuments across the nation

On April 26, 2017, he issued Executive Order 1379 in summary put into review all designated national monuments that have been named since 1996

On May 23, 2017, President recommended cutting 13% to National Park Service

On June 2, 2017, Secretary Zinke (Secretary of the Interior appointed by Donnyboy, resigned in 2019) reduces size of Bears Ears National Monument (this is one example of cutting protection for national monuments)
